Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Solvit App Technologies (BN 9944302), the business behind FixAm ("FixAm", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the FixAm app or website, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. What FixAm is

FixAm is a marketplace. It connects people who need repairs and services ("customers") with independent tradespeople ("technicians"). Technicians are not FixAm employees. Each job is an agreement between the customer and the technician. FixAm provides the platform, identity checks, secure payment (escrow) and dispute support.

8. Safety and conduct

Be respectful. Harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, fake reviews and illegal activity are not allowed. In an emergency, call 112 first, then use SOS in the app. We may share information with authorities where the law requires it or someone is at risk.

9. Our responsibility

We check technicians' identity and work history, but we can't guarantee the quality of every job or the conduct of every user. To the extent the law allows, FixAm is not liable for indirect losses or for damage caused by a customer or technician. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount paid for that job through FixAm. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

10. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time (see Delete my account). Jobs in progress and money in escrow or your wallet will be settled first.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will first try to settle any disagreement with you directly. If we can't, it goes to the courts of Nigeria.
