FixAm takes a small commission on your labour only. We never take anything from the cost of parts.
To join you need a valid NIN, a clear selfie, photos of your past work and a Nigerian bank account. Optional Elite membership puts you first in search for a 15% fee.
Questions people ask
How does escrow keep my money safe?
You pay FixAm, not the technician. We hold the money and release it only after you confirm the job is done. If you forget to confirm, it is released automatically 48 hours after the technician marks the job done, unless you report a problem.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Tap "Report a problem" before you confirm. Your payment stays frozen while our team reviews the chat and photos. We can ask the technician to redo the work for free, or refund you in part or in full.
Can I cancel a job?
Yes. Cancelling is free until the technician sets off. After they are on the way, a ₦1,000 call-out fee goes to the technician for their transport. If the technician is late, cancelling stays free.
How are technicians verified?
Every technician gives us their NIN, a selfie and photos of past work. Our team checks these before approving them. Ratings from real customers keep everyone honest.
How do I pay?
Inside the app, by debit card, bank transfer or USSD, processed securely by Paystack. FixAm never sees or stores your card details.
Which cities is FixAm in?
FixAm is live in Enugu, with Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt coming soon.
How much does it cost customers?
Nothing extra. You pay the price you agree with the technician. Invite a friend and you both get ₦500 off a job.
